The js13kGames online competition is celebrating its thirteenth edition this year, as it started all the way back in 2012. You have a whole month between August 13th and September 13th to create a web game that fits into a 13 kilobyte zip package and follows a given theme: Triskaidekaphobia (fear or avoidance of the number 13).
There are plenty of prizes as usual, with extra amount of swag collected over the years that the top entries will win in 2024. The WebXR category have a Meta Quest 3 device and VR cardboards for participants, and Decentralized category offers 5200 USDC in a total prize pool assigned to challenges from OP Guild, Avalanche, Thirdweb, and Arcadia.
