The upcoming Gamedev.js Jam 2025 starts April 13th, and one of the optional challenges with extra prizes is V Shaders from V Systems.
Create your original Shader in WebGL and publish it to the V Systems blockchain.
The cool part? The shader have to fit into 16 kilobytes! If you enjoy js13kGames, this looks like something you should definitely check out.
The prize pool is impressive as well: $12 000 total split across four different tracks (announced the same day the theme will be out, and the Jam will begin, so April 13th), with four prizes each:
- Top Prize: $1000*
- Best Visuals: $750*
- Best Tech: $750*
- Community Vote: $500*
The amounts for the authors of the winning entries will be given half in USDT and half in VSYS.
The challenge’s expert is Xavier Gao, V Systems front-end developer focusing on making blockchain tools intuitive and accessible.
If you’d like to join this challenge, make sure to check the introductory blog post and the hackathon.v.systems landing page. Don’t forget the V Systems folks are more than happy to help you with any issues or questions.
