The fifteenth yearly edition of the online web game development competition where the challenge is to build a web game fitting into a 13 kilobyte zip package, js13kGames, started August 13th, and the theme this year is: Unicorns and Rainbows.
You have a whole month to create and submit your entry to win lots of cool prizes, including the usual free t-shirts and gadgets for top 100 entries shipped worldwide for free. On top of the regular Desktop and Mobile, there are extra optional categories including WebXR, Online, and Wavedash with their own ranking and dedicated prizes as well.
Talk with fellow developers about your ideas, show your prototype and ask for feedback on our Slack or Discord. Also, help us reach as many devs as possible by sharing the announcement blog post and boosting the social media messages on X ⁄ Twitter, Facebook, Mastodon, and Bluesky – thank you!
Good luck to you all and have fun!
