At the upcoming ReactNext conference happening June 24th in Tel-Aviv, the largest React conference in Israel, Guy Nesher will give a talk about JavaScript Minigames.
Mini-games are small, easily developed games that rely on a single mechanic that can be played in under five minutes—like Flappy Bird, 2048, or the more recent 1D Pac-Man. Developing them is a great way to hone your JavaScript skills, express your imagination, and, hopefully, have some fun. In this talk, we will see how we can expand on our existing skillset to start developing games.
There might, or might not, be some references to the js13kGames competition, but you’ll have to attend the talk to make sure it actually happens.
