Fyrox – Rust based game engine

A modern, open-source game engine written in Rust, Fyrox is designed for 2D and 3D game development.

A feature-rich, production-ready, general purpose 2D/3D game engine written in Rust with a scene editor. Formerly known as rg3d.

It focuses on ease of use, performance, and safety, leveraging Rust’s memory safety features to prevent common programming errors. Fyrox comes with an intuitive scene editor, physics integration, and support for animations, making it a great choice for both beginners and experienced developers. The engine also supports scripting via Rust and provides a robust plugin system for extending functionality.

The current version is 0.36, and if you want to learn more you can read the Fyrox Game Engine Book and go through examples. The engine itself is open sourced on GitHub.
